The meals were top-notch—especially the scrummy scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The location is a gem, just a stone's throw from the stunning River Dee, making it perfect for outdoor adventurers. the cozy vibe of the hotel made me feel right at home, and Fiona and the team truly went above and beyond.
A cheeky moan about the room—couldn't get fresh air since the window was locked. Plus, the TV was so small that watching it felt like peering through a keyhole! But honestly, these hiccups didn't dim the shine of my stay.

absolutely adored the charming aura here, but come on, the TV is like a relic from another century! enhancing the internet for streaming would have been grewt. also, it would have been lovely to receive more attention as I am someone who expects a finer touch—after all, I almost thought about leaving a glowing review but just couldn’t.

The TV in the room was rather outdated, which felt out of place in an otherwise charming setting.

The room experience left some room for improvement. The pillows in my standard room were underwhelming, and I found the mattress to be a bit springy but manageable for one night. my window was locked shut with no option for fresh air, which felt restrictive. The breakfast had no fresh fruit, relying instead on little plastic tubs of processed options, and the breakfast bread seemed more like cardboard than anything palatable. a note on the TV—it was quite small, which wouldn’t normally be a concern, but during the rainy spell, it became a point of frustration while stuck indoors.
